About.
I'm a cyber security professional and PhD candidate based in the Peterborough / Stamford area of the UK. I work where governance, cloud security, and applied AI overlap — generally on systems that matter, run by people who can't afford for them to fail.
Day to day I'm a Security Analyst at Bunker Technical Solutions. Concurrently I'm a PhD candidate at Keele University, working on autonomous vulnerability assessment in operational technology environments.
I also support my partner Holly's business, Seris Studio, in an operations and compliance capacity. Different industry, same instinct for making systems robust.
I prefer evidence-led to declarative. I'd rather show you the test run than tell you the framework. Bullet points beat manifestos. I write most formal documents in LaTeX because I want them to read like they were taken seriously.
Outside work, I collect and paint Warhammer — currently building a custom Deathwatch army for 40K. I also shoot at a local club. Both reward the same thing: patience, repetition, and the kind of attention that doesn't translate well into Teams messages.
Azure-native cloud security. Windows + WSL2 (Kali for offensive work, Ubuntu for everything else). Python and PowerShell for automation. Local-first LLMs via Ollama for research where the data shouldn't leave the box. LaTeX for documents that need to last.
